Introduction
This document has been written for developers who are creating applications which will be using the LinX API. LinX is a collection of web services with which clients can enrich, profile or analyze bank transaction files.
Enriching in this process is the affixment of additional information to bank transactions. Here we make a distinction between categories/classification and the diverse information on the counterpart (addresses, e-mail, website and activities).
Profiling distills information from a person’s bank transactions and returns a profile with information about the household composition, the residence, vehicles, average income and average expenses on rent/mortgage monthly. This profile is used as input to calculate the "Nibud Reference Numbers".
